Foremost, I can not order the burger to be cooked the way I like it. The problem is that they really don't offer any choices at all. But presumably I came here because I wanted organic, grass-fed beef, and a few upscale options. If I want a fast burger, I can get one at a fast food joint for half the price. This is a copycat 5 Guys, and both suffer from the same ill conception. The placemat and posted literature of this place is all about image and not about food. Ambience: kinda generic and bland seating layout seems to encourage you not to stick around too long Service: good, efficient, not great order at the counter food brought to your table questions readily answered at the counter or at your table Food: well-done is standard and results in a dry patty though not greasy taste too dependent on the toppings dearth of meat flavor reminds me of many fast food burgers fries were good, but again did not distinguish themselves from anywhere else nice to have a side salad available though it was just okay menu looks similar to Five Guys (regular burger is two patties kids burger is a single patty) Cost: $43 (excluding tax) for 2 regular burgers, 2 kids burgers, 1 veggie burger, 1 fries, 2 side salads, & 3 fountain drinks You can feel better about what you are eating, but your taste buds will be less satisfied. Five Guys set the standard for burgers slightly more expensive than fast food but less expensive than the full-service restaurants and counter-service gourmet burger outlets. Overall, worst burger joint I've ever eaten at, would not recommend this to anyone (hello Five Guys) and hope the owners/franchisors reconsider what they are doing.With the trendiness of burgers since the recession hit and a myriad of new burger places opening and restaurants offering more burger options, Elevation Burger fails to stand out from the crowd. Plastic cups for water, plastic cups for shakes, plastic utensils, plastic cups for sauces, ALL of which are single use disposable plastics!! We spent $25 on 2 burgers, one small fries and one shake, for this experience to boot!

The double meat patties (where is the single patty option?) are doused with what tasted like Kraft American cheese and some of their special sauce, making for a slippery slidy hand-eating experience. The 'French fries' were greasy, fried, very thin, limpy sticks (hello, where did the potato go). sweet and somewhat soggy burger buns (how much sugar can you put into a hamburger bun - here quite a lot! Same goes for the "Black Cherry" shake that tasted like it had a hint of strawberry to the sugar, sugar, sugar cream.
We stopped here looking for something fairly filling, quick, with outdoor seating (dog with us) and it's a given we try to eat good, flavorful, organic food.īad for You: super.
